Sandy Hagen

After receiving my BFA in sculpture from Bellevue University, I was looking for a way to introduce glass into my metal work. I took a lampworking class (glass bead making) and a glass fusing class in 2000. Instead of incorporating my glass work into my metal sculptures I started creating jewelry.
I have taken many glass workshops and classes from glass masters throughout the years. Recently I have found a new glass (borosilicate) to create pendants.
My work can be found at the Passageway Gallery in the Old Market and at the Hot Shops Art Center in Studio 102.
